absolutely shirley....hes a little pet..... although keina was a bit put out she wanted a girl cousin, not a boy.....lol.......she sulked for a while but when she saw hes pic, she decided hes cute and she can keep him..... ;D amanda is going to be a special auntie....as she feels more like an auntie than a cousin..... its so strange there is only 5 years between my sis & I but there is nearly 2 decades between our first borns....i thought i would be a granny before that one made me an auntie...lol..........

And we missed you! Is anyone else sick to the back teeth of hearing about the recession and the budget? It's seriously starting to depress me! This country is in a bad way.

Hear hear Shirley! To be honest I don't think we are hearing the full extent of how bad the economy really is. My heart goes out to people who now find themselves in negative equity, having to travel a million miles to work each day and others who cannot get school places for their children etc. The country has almost been bled dry. For someone who works in the industry I was ashamed to read the level of money owed to banks by developers. I had know notion that their borrowings were at that level. I think the most annoying part of all this is the amount of money spent by FAS. Why does FAS need to advertise? Every Tom, Dick and Harry knows who they are!

oh god girls it is all very worrying and depressing alright, jeez angie thats awful, we get to keep our money intact until the kids are 19, while they are in higher education, and even then it is hard enough, Laura it is hard love but try and keep postiive and don't let that great talent of yours go to waste. I was talking to the nspcc today, and if you heard some of the stories, it would make marble weep! I find it hard to make ends meet these days to but after what i have heard these past days, it made me thank god for what I have, and in lots of other ways we are all so very lucky, so girls lets count our blessings and keep going forward!

my kids are on mid term this week and they are driving me nuts. Hein is also off this week so we can at least sleep out. Bought some new curtains for the sitting room window, badly needed, the ohter ones were up 14 years! I just love Ikea with their affordable prices.
I'm not going to talk about the depressing news about money. Worring about it will only give me more gray hairs.
And a little bit of good news, my sister is expecting her second child. Her oldest has just turned 6 and they had given up all hope of ever having another. I'm so thrilled for her

Thanks girls. It will be the 13th grandchild for my parents, they are thrilled. On Heins side we have 3 nephews, Hein only has one sister. My oldest niece turns 21 today. I can still remember coming into the world. She was born in Cork and we left the house at 5am to get to the hospital to see her. My mother was already in the house a week helping my sister and stayed for another two. Time sure flies

I think we should get started on the other site soon, before this one shuts down and then we are all lost! I'm trying to find my way around there and suggest that you all start checking it out too.
