I have nothing got yet and I can't think of a single thing to get them. Dylan changes his mind with every add he sees. Amy doesn't know and Ryan has his birthday on the 15th of Dec and that's all he can think about now

Some things you just can't plan! We have the Santa on the 5th of Dec, not at Christmas then Ryan on the 15th and then Christmas day. We bought the twins a ds each last year and Ryan a psp, worth every penny but they know it won't be as much this year. Ryan bought his own mobile with his birthday money last year. The wii was bought for the Communion of Dylan and Amy and the kids save themselves for games. Ryan has spent every penny ha has on a new game, mario cart and can't buy anything till his Birthday. He would love the simpsons on dvd, he is trying to collect them, so I know we can get them for his birthday

Too true jacqui, the spirit of christmas is gone, its all about the toys and what they get, its not the same as when we were young....it just starts too early by the time it actually comes around, i get fed up of it..... its such horrible weather here at the minute, finding it very hard to get out of bed in the morns...its dark in the mornings now and very cold here....any one got tips to make it easier to get up in the dark, damp mornings?

I like a glass of pure orange juice, (Tropicana) first thing in the morning. I sup it while writing down my thoughts, feelings and plans for the day in my journal. I find it a great way to start the day.

Hi all well at the moment getting up and going out to do research, getting me out of bed is having to call Conor 20mins before I have to, cos he is so hard to get up, I'm near hoarse by the time he goes to school. then I like a cuppa coffee and a wee smoke!

Yup the coffee does it for me to! Thank God I'm off work tomorrow and can have a 'jama' day with Aine who is as mad as a march hare these days and worse in the morning than at any other time - she'd soon have you up and at it that's for sure! She is dynamite craic though and so comical and literally repeating everything after you - hence you have to be very careful what you say...ahem!!

I'm looking forward to Christmas in a vague distant way. Keeping my eye out for pressies. It's nice to buy them in dribs and drabs instead of one big rush at the end.

Work secret santas can be great craic because they give you the scope to really take the piss out of whatever unfortunate is on the receiving end of your gift!! I went to the Ann summers shop one year and got a thong that made a noise like a horse for one our security guards - very funny esp as there was plenty of wine on the go and the same boy thought he was God's gift (NOT)!! Another year I got a box of Just for Men hair dye for one of my colleagues who was getting a little grey should we say - it was the following february before he found out it was me and I know that he's just dying to get me back!! Hee hee...you've put me in the mood now Oons...bring it on!!!

oh girls I have to tell you all, I have spent entire week at court....and no before you ask or think..lol I wasn't up myself, but sitting in on a case that covered what I'm writng about, and although the subject matter is very traumatic, it was also very fasinating and interesting, also mixing with the solicitors and wigs was rewarding, they including the judge were very helpful to me. but sad to see some very young people come up before the judge, is mind boggling!

Oh, thank God! I got myself online again!!!! That was freaky, I just can't be doing with this business of not being able to access this site when I'm up at all hours printing out manuscripts!!! For the record, I had to bypass a proxy server to get on here.....now, I might work for a techie company, but I'm in the advertising division and I'm no techie! So working that out all on my ownio was hard work!
