I loved Brokeback Mountain. It was a beautiful film to watch in the cinema and I though Heath Ledger was heartbreakingly good in his role. So sad that he has died.

I got a copy of The Tiger's Tale at the weekend. Brendan Gleeson is in it. He plays two parts in it, of twin brothers. My friend Vinny was an extra in it, so I'm going to watch it at the weekend, hopefully. Have any of you seen it?

I haven't seen that for ages, funny enough I love Richard Gere now that he's older. I think that he's yummy now, but I couldn't see what everybody was raving about him at the time. He mustn't have been my type then. I saw a good film lately that he was in. Unfaithful was the name of it. It was a thriller of sorts, and was very good. Isn't it sad about Patrick Swayze? He only has a few weeks to live and he's still so young. I was madly in love with him in Ghost. I have a good few DVD's still to watch. Think I might take some time out and watch City of Angels on Friday. That was a lovely movie.

someplaces on the net now saying Patrick Swayze is responding to treatment and there is hope Swayze's Doctor Disputes Near-Death Reports 6 March 2008 (WENN) Patrick Swayze's doctor has confirmed the actor has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - but insists he's not as close to death as reports suggest. Tabloid and internet reports suggested the Ghost star was fighting for his life and had been given just five weeks to live, but his physician Dr. George Fisher suggests he's a lot more optimistic about the actor's recovery. In a statement issued to Wenn on Wednesday, Dr. Fisher says, "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic." The Dirty Dancing hunk's publicist Annett Wolf adds, "Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects. The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family." www.imdb.com/name/nm0000664/news I wish him well always loved everything he's done.

Charlene, That's great news about Patrick. Please God he will be ok. Isn't desparate the way the tabloids can get things so wrong. Angie hope you enjoyed dirty dancing. LOL. How many times have you seen it? LOL I watched The Tigers Tail. I thought it was very good. Not a film that I would have gone to the cinema to see, but it was good. Samantha from Sex & The City played Brendan Gleeson's wife in it. Was strange to hear her with an Irish accent!! Not a great one at that.

Girls, There are some nice movies on TV next week. I was just looking at the tv guide earlier. Stepmom is on Channel 4 on Monday night 31st March at 10.45pm, and Sliding Doors is on Sky One at 9pm on Tuesday 1st April. I've seen them before, but they are definately worth watching again. Did any of you ever see Dead Again with Emma Thompson and Kenneth Brannock. It was a good thriller. I haven't seen Sense and Sensibility yet. Must watch out for it on DVD. Has anybody seen In Bruge yet? It's on at the cinema here at the moment and I was wondering if it's worth going to see? I've watched Dirty Dancing quite a few times too!! LOL But I think that I've watched Ghost so many times that I've lost count. I think I could nearly act the parts myself now. I just love that movie. I have a pile of TBW dvd's as well as TBR books. I keep recording movies, and never get around to watching them, maybe I should just take a holiday to read and watch movies LOL. Imagine just vegging for a whole week doing that with lots of goodies!! What bliss it would be.LOL

I do remember that one, it was a better version that the one with hayley mills in it....
I went to a cinema to watch the Land before time on my honeymoon, we were the only people there without kids....lol....
i think my favourite kids films would be harry potter...they are fantastic...mind you, when the 4th one came out, it missed loads of the book in it and I had an arguement with Gerry Ryan on his radio show about it....lol....
