I read Broken promises by Ger gallagher did u read that one susan. i enjoyed it!! Wuthering Heights would nt be in mine as I studied it for the leaving so a very negative experince. looking good and go ask alice great choices

Lace by Shirley Conran Flowers In The Attic by Virginia Andrews People Might Hear You by Robin Klein (teenage book) Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult
Hard to list others as I love the authors but couldn't pick a favourite book by them. Tose authors are: Marian Keyes Cathy Kelly Sheila O'Flanagan Patricia Scanlan Dianne Blacklock Monica McInerney Louise Bagshawe
just to name a few.

I would have to say my all time favourite from when I was a kid, is Little Women. Also Circle of Friends....love that book and can read it and watch the movie over and over.
I'm like you Nicc, it's too hard to name a favourite book as such, but favourite authors are easier....I'd say my top choices would be: Maeve Binchy and Penny Vincenzi. These would be closely followed by Marian Keyes, Cathy Kelly, Cecelia Ahearn, Jon Cleary, Sharon Owens, LaVyrle Spencer, Mary Nickson, Santa Montefiore and lots more of course.

Absolute favourite books (old friends)
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte All of Jane Austen's books. The Bible (new Testament) Joanna Trollope - complete works to date. Enid Blyton - especially the independent ones like Family at Redrooves (my absolute fav!) Agatha Christie - crime novels and those she wrote under the name of Mary Westacott. The Artist's Way by Julia Cameran. Little Women (Lousie Allicot??) A Christmas Carol by Charles thingyens. Co-dependent No More by Melodie Beatie The complete works to date by Susan Howatch (set in the church of England)
Other books I have really enjoyed:
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult (will probably join list above!) Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody Looking Good by Tracy Culleton Francesca's Party by Patricia Scanlan Echoes by Maeve Binchy Cecilia Ahern's two most recent novels (not her first two) The Story of Lucy Gault by William Trevor The Firm by John Grisham (I also love the film - adore Tom Cruise in it - yum!) The Kite Runner Kahled Hosseinni
And LOADS more but I can't think of them!!!
Best book read so far this year is: Notes on a Scandal by Zoe Heller

I really enjoyed Tuesdays with Morrie, don't know the writers name off hand, but a great read
And I've really loved Denise Deegan books, very gripping

this over a year old but its been playing on my mid of late. maybe its got something to do with my favourite books taken out of room at home. they are now in the hall as my brother moved home and is in my room for the moment. I warned my mother though ye better not throw them out and i said i know Dad will be giving out but they cant get thrown out. my mother said he wouldnt leave any one touch then. ah bless they understand my addiction to books now. this list is going to just be a bit random the books are in no particular order i just couldnt do it so here goes. - My favourite Goodbye by Sheila O Flanagan.
