If you've ever wanted to write for children, this Pen evening is a must.
Chaired my moi, Sarah Webb - children's bookseller and marketing manager of 16 year's experience, now a children's consultant and author (Amy Green, Teen Agony Queen: Boy Trouble is out in Feb 09 with Walker Books).
Panel: Helen Carr, highly experienced editor with O'Brien Press who will be dealing with how to catch an editor's eye and what they as a publishing house are looking for.

And finally the fab Oisin McGann, children's writer and illustrator - who will be talking about making a living from writing for children, getting published and finding a good children's agent.
It should be a great night if I say so myself!

I went to this last night, and it was a great event. I was going to do a writeup on it, but I see that Sarah has already blogged about it this morning, and she's covered everything I was going to say! Really interesting, engaging panelists made for a very enjoyable session. Great job!
