Hi everyone - and it's especially nice to tak to some very nice people who have made contact with me about our fundraising project for the LauraLynn Children's Hospice Foundation. As you probably all know, book No. 3 is on the shelves now - Odds on Love. It's a thriller - and deals with gambling and how insidious it is. In the story Odds on Love - we meet Bel and Tom who seem to have everything. But there are underlying problems when Bel doesn't get pregnant when all it seems they want is a child. She wants to go down the route of investigation, but Tom can't face that, and blames himself for the fact that she cannot conceive. Unable to deal with his insecurities he begins to drink and gamble and is slowly drawn into that insidious world until finally it destroys him. Then against all the odds Bel becomes pregnant, but Tom never knows as on the day she finds out he disappears out of her life. You have to read the book to find out what happens!! As before, one hundred percent of the proceeds of all the books are donated to the LauraLynn and to date we have raised €71,000.00 for Jane and Brendan. Currently the LauraLynn are merging with Sunshine Children's Home in Leopardstown, Dublin, and that is where the first hospice will be built. We hope it will happen soon. For further info you can log on to my website www.franobrien.net and www.lauralynnhospice.comThanks to you all. Regards. Fran O'Brien.
