Thanks Laura an Angie for your concern about my mam, these wee mini strokes are taking their toll on her she is not getting better and the dr says there is not a lot he can do for her! the last one seems to have affected her hearing now, so it is like just watching a ticking bomb and waiting. x

Hi Angie, sorry to hear about your latest concerns, I agree with the rest of the girls here, its no use being used the way you were, we are not a 'man's doormat'. Great strength you have to make a wise decision, also shows your love for yourself to be treated in a right way and the protective motherly love you have that is best for the children's welfare. As we all know, children learn by what they see in the role models around them. Jacqui really sorry to also hear your mum's health is declining, I will keep you all in my prayers daily, wishing for you most importantly and ultimately peace will reign in your hearts through all of it. Laura thanks for your comments about KRoad, at the moment its a tapestry waiting to be weaved when I'm finally back home, (can I call it home yet?...lol). Still no word here from Passports, I'm staying positive, there's always a great lesson to be learnt in patience. Its been reeeealllly cold here at night and in the mornings, though the sun is shining, albeit between a few intermittent showers here and there. Apologies for not being on here as much lately, I think of you all often, just getting all finer details in order; I'll tell you, when that postie arrives with the one thing in the world that is precious to me, you'll hear me shouting for joy over there! ;D...love to all of you, have a fabulous week ahead...ps. Claire great to hear your back safe and sound, hoping your holiday brought much rest and relaxtion for you and the family. xox

Thanks so very much Laura, what a beautiful thing to say Welcome to Ireland, I myself can hardly believe it also, I also think it will be a good thing to write about the journey to be able to finally have my Certificate of Abode residency stamp, let alone getting the Australian Passport, I really experienced many obstacles, frustrations, though I am grateful for having the determination to take a step by step pace, patience is never an easy thing to learn, though I can testify that things are necessary before we can achieve our dreams, there are lessons to be learnt and it also tests our character, resilience and we can only see this in hindsight. As much as there were days when I thought it was all just too difficult, I can see now that it would have been wiser to apply for things many days before I began to. Passports have many people applying for all kinds of visas, with all different reasons, but the lesson I learnt most of all was there are only so many hours in a day that staff can achieve and of course there would be limits to employment budgets of how many staff are able to man the paperwork, regardless of the companies/government bodies etc. We are so much stronger than we think we are, male and female, without the testing, there is no testimony. Sometimes we need to be a frontrunner for others, to pass on the knowledge we learnt in walking a similar pathway before them. They say there is a time and a season for all things, and the time for me to come is now, and the days in preparing to be able to go, well the weather some days, metaphorically speaking, some days were sunny and enjoyable, other days seemed like stormy weather with fierce winds that nearly knocked my confidence over. Anyway, again I thank all of those here who have been tremendously supportive in so many ways, it was the strength and encouragement I found here that made all the difference, there is no other way to say it. Ok, so now its time to sort out the 'weights' of luggage etc, and purchase a ticket ;D, I intend to personally thank each of those here who have helped me in the journey, you are all just the best kind of friends a girl can have...so I say a thousand thanks, and I'll see you all soon, love & hugs, hannah xox
