Grace Mulcahy has a good husband, a beautiful daughter and a rewarding career - she couldn't be happier. Until she discovers that her business partner, Miriam Cooper has been embezzling her for years. Her first reaction is to go to the police but Miriam begs her not to as she says her husband would be disgusted and would leave her. Soft-hearted Grace agrees, for a price, but her decision leads to complications and misunderstandings that she could never have foreseen. When the truth comes out, Grace watches helplessly as her life unravels around her and wonders how she will she ever be able to trust anyone again. The Betrayal of Grace Mulcahy by Colette Caddle is out in paperback on July 3rd, 2006.

Hi Colette
You must have had a great time writing this book! The characters were something else to say the least! Miriam and Brigit were unbelievable to put it mildly! My favourite characters were Rosa and Nat. They were probably the only characters besides Luke that hadn't a vindictive bone in their bodies!
A great read. Keep up the good work.
Susan

I finished this book today, it was nothing like any other chick-lit book I've read lately

Hi Claire. Just dropped by the site to let Jacinta know I'm hoping to be at her launch tomorrow and I saw your comments. I'm intrigued! Different from other chicklit you've been reading - but is that a good thing???!!! I know I'm glad that you thought Miriam and Bridget were b**ch*s because I think some of my women tend to be too nice and I enjoyed doing some baddies for a change. Take care, x, Colette C
