Hi Girls,
Sorry, I know, Dublin again. But it's where we all live. With the little ones, and no partner most of the time (he's away sailing) I have to stick close to home.
But there will be an all day event on 29th Sept in the Great Southern Hotel near Dublin airport, and I'm in West Cork in July for the Literary Festival in Bantry.
Oh, and an event in Cabinteely Park on 23rd June - 2.30 to 4.30.
And we did Waterford this year in March. But we will try to do an Irish Girls tour at some stage - prob next year - so stay tuned!
Best, SarahX

The Dublin airport events are really handy for us northerners. After Newry its pretty much a straight run. i've been to two and they were great - Mary Malone spoke really well at the last one as a newly published author!
So we'll put that date in our diaries Fionnuala and Claire and make a day of it!!

Hi Angela, They are mostly in Dublin because 90% of my contacts are in Dublin - most of the writers live there and also my bookshop and library friends are based there. But if your local library are interested in hosting something or your local bookshop - tell them to email me and I could organise some authors for them in the autumn. My email address is sarah@sarahwebb.info Us writers are always happy to travel if there's a good, well organised event to travel to! Nothing worse than sitting at a desk with tumbleweed blowing by because the event hasn't been promoted properly! Best, Sarah

I take it all back girls - it would appear that Belfast is the spot where its all happening at the moment!!!!!
I was in Belfast for a meeting with work yesterday and was just homeward bound on the bus when who should hop on board behind me only Emma H who was down doing a magazine interview with Northern Woman with none other than Claire Allan who I had just missed by seconds as the Derry Bus was just pulling out! Small world or what???
