Sounds great... the mum lit debate sounds particularly interesting from a selfish point of view. Doubt I'll be able to make it, but I'd love to take part some time in the future if you have a slot.

Hi Sarah,
Is there no point in getting in touch till the 9th August then?
Will it be a first come first served basis like before?
thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa, yes, so ring nice and early - on the 7th - not the 9th! From 10.30. And the Mum's the Word book is the one I'm editing - out in Sept, in aid of cf research in the National Children's Hospital, Tallaght. Melissa's is in aid of breast cancer and is called With a Little Help from My Friends and is out in Oct. Best, Sarah

Hi Sarah, The Reader's Day sounds fantastic and I'd really love to be going to it but I have something else on. I've recommended it to a writer's group here in Cork so you might have a Cork contingent arriving if it isn't booked up yet. Very best of luck with it, Best wishes, Mairead O'Driscoll

Hi All, Just to say the readers' day is fully booked now - but you can go on the reserve list if you like and cross your fingers. People do cancel nearer the time. Best, Sarah

Emma, her sister Rachael and I are all going (yippee!) - got confirmation on the phone from Sarah O'Neill - think I would have had a pink fit if I'd been told it was fully booked as I am really looking forward to the day itself with the added bonus of meeting all of you!

I hope there will be books for sale by the various authors. I went to one of these days a few years ago in Blanchardstown library and there were great authors there but no opportunity to buy their books and get them signed.
Just an idea.

Hi Katie,
Eason, Swords are now doing the shop and there will be plenty of books by all the authors speaking, and other books also. There will also be a lucky dip - when you buy a book you get a go at the lucky dip - lots of great prizes from books, to make up, chocolate and jewellery. Just thought it would make it fun and hopefully encourage people to buy a book. After all the event is free - lunch and everything!
Best, SarahX

That sounds fabulous Sarah - like the sound of getting make up and jewellery at it (as if the books weren't a big enough treat!)
