Meet Daisy Anderson - an out of work actress working in Super Shoes in Belfast. Daisy is originally from Killshannon in Donegal but she doesn't go there very often as her past tends to catch up with her and haunt her.
Enter Eddie Eastwood Daisy's best friend who has been residing in San Francisco and who is as 'gay as Christmas' except his Mammy doesn't know that and he needs Daisy to do him a big favour which brings her back to Donegal to face all sorts of demons - the biggest one being his brother Jonathan. But will she overcome them? And will she find out why her mother has an obsession with Madonna and if Christian Devine or 'The Messiah' - Christ Devine as he is known by his female admirers is still as divine as ever???
Girls...girls...girls...what can I say! I read this book in four days (whilst working and having children to look after and a house to clean etc etc.) and highly reccommend it - its funny with a great storyline and an aura of suspense that keeps you hooked until the end! There are also a few characters that you would love to slap but I'll not give too much away! Please do yourselves a favour and get it!
Well done to Emma - a good friend and soon to be a best selling author if her first book is anything to go by!!! xo

Just to add another point to the discussion I've heard a lot of people here locally saying that they enjoyed the characters in the book so much that they would like the story to continue into another book - I have to agree as I didn't want it to end!

I'm nearly through this now and it gets better as it goes on and on. The marker of a good book IMO is that people want it to go on and on. Should finish it today and will report back then.
