Ever since Jennifer exchanged her high-flying career for a life by the sea with her son, Charlie and their dog, Sausage, she hasn't looked back. Not once. Not on the emotional debris of her broken engagement to fiancé, Dave, nor the one night of stupidity that caused it. But all that is about to change...
Four-year-old Charlie's new life at school has started well: he's made friends, settled in, is beginning to make his own little way in the world. Jennifer has to look to rebuilding her own life. But when a casual trip to the doctor leads to Charlie facing the biggest challenge of his young life, Jennifer has to confront the past she thought she could safely forget.
This is the synopsis of the book!

yeah but in a good way. Some parts are coming back to me. More than anything it is the way she tells the story, all of her books hold a sort of down to earth truthfulness that makes them very believable. You don't fell terribly sorry for the person in question they are not after pity, it is just told as it is. You will like it

Finished this book last night and I loved it I did guess the outcome which sort of spoiled it but only a little I liked the pace of the book and was happy with the ending.
Thank you for lending it to me Oonagh and so sorry for the time I have had it, would you like it posted back now.
