Removed thread- please read

I have removed a thread which contained untrue and offensive material about a writer.

I would like to remind all members that this forum is available for readers to comment on books, and discuss what they liked and disliked about the writing or stories or characters.

Commenting personally about writers is not acceptable.

Repeating 'gossip' or rumours about anyone will not be tolerated.

Offensive posts will be removed and members who repeat the offense will be banned.

Thank you for bringing this to my intention, and I remind all members that you may bring anything of this nature to me and I will act. Also any member with administrative or moderator status can also remove posts.

On behalf of everyone who uses this forum in the way it was intended, I would like to apologise for any upset caused.

Did think that the info that C Ahearne had not written her own stuff was a bit suspect.

She must be very upset about these allegations which I'm sure are untrue. How does one cope with this?
