Hi Karen , Mary O Sullivan here. You're so right. The publishing market is so competitive now. We're all in there trying to find our little corner. Hopefully there will be some space for As Easy As That !

Glad you like cover Karen. I like the relaxed , at peace with the world ,feel of it too. Cover design seems to be one of the biggest aspects of marketing now. Maybe we should go for level playing pitch. Everyone with brown paper cover! Make for very dull shelves but some interesting results! Mary O S

all the best Mary, let us know how it all goes. Are you having a book launch?

Thanks Claire. No official launch as such.
Since this would involve me standing up and speaking in public ,I'm afraid I completely chickened out of the idea. There are plans though for a signing in local shopping centre here in Carrigaline. Don't know why I think that's less intimidating. Could be sitting , pen in hand , sweat on brow, books piled high and shop empty!!
All part of the joys of a writer's life. Mary O S

Hi Shirley, I've just got my head around putting post on this board,Shirley!
I enjoyed this forum for a long time as an observer but thought actually participating would take a lot of technical know-how. I was pleasantly surprised at how user-friendly it is. I'm loving it now.
I might ask fellow Cork author Mary Malone for some tips. Mary put up her own web page and did a great job on it too. Mary O S
