Hi everyone,
I know you're all completely inundated with launch parties and suchlike at the mo but I just wanted to let you know that the launch of the charity book in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation, 'A Little Help from My Friends' will be launched in Hughes and Hughes St Stephen's Green on Wednesday 3rd October so if you're in the area, it would be lovely to see you.
Am very excited about this book as there is a great mix of contributors including Cathy Kelly, Sarah Webb, Claudia Carroll, Kate Thompson, Mary Malone, Colette Caddle and Marisa Mackle and Kathryn Thomas, and also some fab non-fiction from personalities like Victoria Smurfit, Grania Willis, Doodle Kenelly etc. I think the combo of fiction and non-fiction makes for a lovely balance. It's such a great charity and getting it off the ground really has been a labour of love for me so really hope it does well.
As I said, I know its a very busy time for everyone but if you can make it to the launch, it would be lovely to see you!!
All the best and wishing Emma, Mary (and everyone else with new books coming soon) massive success!!!!
All the best, Melissa XX

Thanks, Melissa, and girls I have a review copy on my shelf!! It's a beautiful book.....some tear jerkers and lots of laugh out loud stories. My review will be published in the Evening Echo and also on my website, www.marymalone.ie. Also I've asked Cork Now magazine to feature it which they kindly are. 103FM will also be featuring it on their radio show......it's such a lovely book and in aid of a fantastic charity. So please support it!

Can't wait to read this! Wish I could get down to meet you Melissa (and see the other girlies too) and I love the Hughes and Hughes in St. Stephens Green! Was the first Souther book shop I saw my book in.
All the very best with it. I'll definitely be getting a copy.

I bought this book on Friday and read each and every story this weekend. My favourite was Melissa's story. Also enjoyed Mary Bond and Mary Malone's stories.

I began reading this book today and it was exactly what I needed - stories about friendship and romance. A perfect girlie read! Claudia Carroll's one made me laugh out loud, I also really enjoyed Tracy's, and Melissa's. Oh, and Collette's. Martina Devlin's too! I haven't got any further than 'D' yet. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of them!

I have this book, and what I love about it is that you can pick it up every now and then and just pick out a story. I loved Claudia Carroll's too and Melissa Hill's

I am still reading this book. I just read Marisa Mackle's story over breakfast, and so enjoyed it. These collections are great. This one is particularly interesting because there are non-fiction stories as well. Congratulations on a great collection, Melissa. I'm going to recommend this to lots of people! : )
