I've started reading The Nanny by Melissa Nathan. Fab so far! I love Melissa Nathan ;D Her books are fab, very sadly she dies of breast cancer earlier this year. There is a very moving dedication in her latest book 'The Learning Curve' as she knew it would be published after her death.

Megan I felt the same about 'Sex Lies and Fairytales'. I've not read 'Tuesdays with Morrie' but I have read 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' by the same author, which is a beautiful book and will make you cry!

It was one of the reasons why I decided to read her books. I'm currently reading Be Careful What You Wish For by Alexandra Potter, but once I've finished that I'm going to read The Learning Curve.

Yes, that is the book Charlie. Mitch Alborn also wrote 'Tuesdays With Morrie'. I am going to get that book too. I really like this author.
I also read the aknowledgements in the front of Melissa Nathan's last book. (I had a little weep in the library when I was doing so) It was so lovely that she reassured her parents she was happy and not to be sad for her.

Do you mean 'If You Could See Me Now' I gave up after 2 chapters, I thought it was terrible as did several other people I spoke to. 'Five People You Meet in Heaven' is excellent. I'm just reading my first Jodi Picoult, 'Salem Falls' and am enjoyingf it so far.

Hi Karan, It is her latest book:
A Place Called Here
Since Sandy Shortt’s childhood classmate disappeared twenty years ago, Sandy has been obsessed with missing things. Finding becomes her goal- whether it’s the sock that vanished in the washing machine, the car keys she misplaced or the graver issue of finding the people who vanish from their lives. Sandy dedicates her life to finding these missing people, offering devastated families a flicker of hope.
Jack Ruttle is one of those desperate people. It’s been a year since his brother Donal vanished into thin air. Thinking Sandy Shortt could well be the answer to his prayers, he embarks on a quest to find her.
But when Sandy goes missing too, she stumbles upon the place - and people - she’s been looking for all her life. A world away from her loved ones and the home she ran from for so long, Sandy soon resorts to her old habit again, searching. Though this time, she is desperately trying to find her way home…
The only book I could read of Cecelia's from cover to cover in one day was 'PS I love You'. I don't find myself rushing through the pages of this one. She has a great warmth in her writing and I'm sure thats what keeps me reading on. . . Would love to hear what everyone thinks of it.

Thanks Susan. I hadn't realised that her new one had been released already.
What's it like? Is it worth a read?

I'm only a couple of chapters in Karen, and yet again I can't make up my mind. To be honest its a bit of a struggle to pick up and read. I'm not fully getting the gist of the story and I don't want to spoil it on anyone by saying what I think its about! I know I sound like I'm rambling but when you read it you'll know what I'm talking about If the story is going to were I think its leading too - I've read umpteen books with the same theme. . . Cecelia has just came at it with a different twist.

I've read the first three chapters of 'A Place Called Here' - Cecilia Ahern's third book. I really liked it. I found it very easy to read and i like the way it isn't based in complete reality. That being said, after the first three chapters, I was able to put it down and forget about it for. It isn't something that I HAVE to read, but I will pick it up again some time and think I will enjoy it. Another book I began to read in the bookshop but this time COULD NOT PUT DOWN was Claudia Carroll's 'Remind Me Again Why I Need a Man.' I found it very funny and kept tittering away behind the counter. I was supposed to close up shop at 5 p.m. last Friday but could NOT leave the shop until I had finished the book! (It took me another twenty minutes) I think she has a great sense of humour and I much prefered this book to her other ones. (I enjoyed her first but was bored with the second and didn't finish it) I hope you enjoy it, Oonagh.
Today I started 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' by Mitch Alborn. So far it's interesting and very easy to read. Will send it on to you, Charlie, when I'm done.

I love Claudia Carroll's books, Megan. She has such a great sense of humor. I saw her being interviewed on RTE last week and she is the most loveliest person. They showed her home which was also amazing.

Do let us know Oonagh. I bet you like it!
I have started 'The Glass Room' By Kate Holmquist. It's surprisingly chick- lity. Because she is an Irish Times Journalist, I thought it would be literary and deep and meaningful. But not so. And so far so good. I haven't decided whether or not I like it yet, but it is keeping me interested. (I am reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven. at the same time.)
