I noticed Catherine Daly has veered away from the these covers and dared to be different. Its a breath of fresh air!
Claire, Linda and Tracy's writing are kinda alike. . .

one more point I know its only a book but I found it unnessary for Twix to die it nearly put me off I flicked to that part and knew what was going to happen and yes I cried for the dog{sad I know!!} I think he could of been injured yes but got better and that coild of been the bond between Rose and her son. Agreed - the ending was so positive for all concerned that it didn't make much sense to make the dog die, especially when David was portrayed as a good guy at the end. I thought it was very sad too and I liked Twix a lot better than some of the characters - Sophie comes to mind!!!!

I am dying to read Linda Kavanagh's books if they are anything like Tracy Culleton's - I think she is a great writer!
And I agree about Catherine Daly's book cover - it is WAY better than the usual smiling perfect woman! I really like the look of it.

We haven't decided on a book yet for the Feb bookclub Jackie, or a date for it. If you have any book in mind that you think would be a good choice, please feel free to suggest it as it's all quite open at the moment!
