I found that when I put the book down I didn't have a longing to pick it back up again, probably wans't until the last 3rd that I really couldn't put it down, by that stage I just wanted to know what happened. But I really enjoyed it, and it was so easy to just pick it up and keep reading.

I read one other of Shelia's I think it was Isobels Wedding, I can't for the life of me remember what happened, also read Tina Reilly's Wedded Blitz just after it and I think I've got em both mixed up.
I'm remember enjoying Shelia's book though.

I noticed when I got to the end of the book I hadn't really thought about what any of the characters looked like, I had read it all at the start but i didn't take it in, so at the end I had a collection of blobs for charcters, I think when I read a book I often don't take much notice of character descirptions but I kinda relate the character to someone I know who I think is kinda like that, even if they look nothing like the character and then an image of that person kinda floats round my ead, but I guess I couldn't really relate anybody to these characters, can't say I've ever really met anybody like them before

I was completly surprised when Tom told her, I had thought about a few reasons why and, that one had never occured to me, i guess I was just like Andie and hadn't thought them to be sleeping with each other

i know what you mean. if you can see the characters in your head it reads different. i see women the same age as cora and could imagine a younger man getting fond of her. women today in there 50/60s today are a lot more glam than they used to be. i'm not goin to say who came to mind when i read Jins character. bit too close to home

I kinda had mixed emotions about Jin. Sometimes I thought she jumped in marrying Kevin not thinking about it properly and other times I just felt real sorry for her.
