God Alison, your poor Mum!!! It's hard to keep up with us writers when we're let loose!!! We ended up in some pub I think it was called The Crown. I just remember being outside buying a rose off a Romanian woman cos I'd a bit too much to drink (what's new?) and I felt sorry for her. Then we got a bus to bring us home but not before we got a whole tour of County Wexford!!! It was hillarious.

I'd love to meet up, Deansgrang was a great day. Things are going well for me, touch wood. I'm launching Fingal libraries writing events for 2005 tomorrow night - I was thrilled to be asked to do it. Bit nerve wracking but everyone is always so nice at these events. There's always a great buzz.
You're doing great tonight - my question was did you always have a burning ambition to write or like me did it hit you like a bolt out of the blue when you weren't watching!!! You answered it and I now have a mental image of you in Ford - writing in a room full of hunks - what inspiration!!!

Sorry I wasn't here for your Interview Alison, I was really looking forward to it although I'm not good at thinkin of questions, I totally slept through my alarm, rolled over this mornin and saw a beautiful blue sky and the sun creeping across the lawn and the first thing I thought was Oh My Goodness I've slept in and missed your interview. I'm in Australia so your interview was in the mornin here. I haven't read any of your books yet hopefully once I move and get the internet on there I'll be able to start ordering book on the net and get a better range of authors.

Actually I do have a question. I noticed you mentioned when your having a day thats difficult to type you sometimes pick up the washing, I was wondering if while your at home writing do you often think of all the other things you could be doing around the house such as washing, gardening, replacing that lightbulb in the hallways that has needed replacing for days etc.

I'm currently studying and only have to attend class 1 day a week the rest of the time I'm at home working on a project but I often find I'm easily distracted by other chores and by the end of the day have only put in 4hrs of genuine project time.
