Georgina is unlucky in love but that doesn’t matter because she has just landed herself the most exciting job of her life as a news journalist. When she’s not chasing stories, she’s making sure that sexy Tim, the news editor, is not chasing her. But when a family member becomes embroiled in a shocking scandal, how far will she go to ensure that the story remains out of the public eye ?
Single mother, Val, is glamorous and full of fun. She loves to shop and party, but the most precious thing in her life is her daughter Jodi. There is nothing this young mother would not do for her darling daughter. But what happens when Jodi asks for a daddy for Christmas? Can Santa deliver on time?
I read 'All You Need Is Love' in two days and loved it. Mary has a wonderful knack of keeping you intrigued from the beginning. The storyline flows.
Would love to do a book club. There's so much to be said about it!
There are some great twists in this book also.
It would make a great Irish film by shedding light on the issues raised in it.
Congratulations again Mary.

I'll pass mine on to anyone who can't get hold of a copy.
There's one thing that sticks out about this book and it's the authors attention to detail without over doing it. You feel your involved in every scene.
My favourite characters were Humphrey, Betty, Des and Val. Jodie also sounded adorable.

I started reading this on Monday night and didn't get to sleep until 3 as couldn't put it down....finally finished it this morning.
It had me hooked from the start and you really feel like you know the characters.
Unfortunately, the storyline with the teenagers and drugs is all too familiar nowadays but it was well written.
I really liked Des, i thought he sounded sweet and sounded like someone I would like to meet.

I am over half way through All You Need Is Love and love the way all the different threads are coming together in it. Part of me wants to sit down and finish it in one sitting and part of me doesn't want the story to end.

Well, like Shaz, AYNIL kept me up till the wee hours! Great read, great sense of place, really lively characters and a really fast-paced story that carried me along right till the end.
Looking forward to the next one.

I finished this book last night and have to say that I really enjoyed it! I had started to read it a few weeks ago but with being sick etc etc I just wasn't in the mood and left it - I'm so glad I went back to it though as I had it read in two days flat! There are a lot of twists in the storyline that you don't expect and Mary really keeps you hooked until literally the last page when everything is revealed!
The medical research you must have had to do is admirable Mary and I also found the whole insight into journalism and how reporters actually research their news stories fascinating!
Very well done missus - I'm waiting most impatiently for the next one now!

I can't wait to get stuck into it again later! I'm dying to see how it all turns out and am just looking for a few uninterrupted hours to get a good run at it! I even brought it to the hairdressers with me this morning, but didn't get a chance to read any of it cos I got chatting with the girl doing my hair! :-) Loving Georgina as a main character, but God, I'd also love to shake her for not putting her foot down with her family more - I felt like jumping into the book and telling her dad to do his own bloody accounts when she came home from her date with Tim!!!!

Hi girls, this has NOTHING to do with the book but is the only place where I can post. I can't seem to login, when I do my name comes up on the end where it shows who is online but I am still being told to login or register!! I tried to modify my post the other day, change my avatar and after that I've been having problems. HELP anybody know what to do. I even tried to set up a new account but that wouldn't work either. I got the email to activate the new name but I couldn't even get that to work. I don't know what to do now!

I just tried to change the avatar and I know for sure i didn't hit delete. It happened before after I changed my avatar but all I had to do was to login again and everything was fine. I can't even activate another account. I don't mind starting again but it just won't work for me. if I try too much to sign in i get banned for an hour or so. I don't know either what to do

I hope you get sorted Claire! This is terrible!!
Mary, I finished the book and really, really enjoyed it. It was such a pageturner. I stayed reading it last night until I finished it - couldn't put it down. It was quite scary too in a way, because I can visualise that situation happening all over the country! Well done for tackling a very pertinent issue.

Claire - clear your cookies. Now depending on what browser you use it may be slightly different but for internet explorer go to to Tools, Internet Options and then look for either a tab or the heading Browsing History (possibly under general). Click delete all. This will remove all your viewing history but will clear your cache of cookies and will hopefully let you log in.

Check it out below, thanks so much to Claire Allen for posting it (and reading it!) and to everyone else who read and enjoyed it...it's still out there in the shops, grinning at me every time I walk in. www.trashionista.com/2008/04/book-review-all.html#more
